Invitation to the Nordic
New Year’s Camp 09/10
Dear brothers and sisters
It is almost a custom now - or the beginning of a tradition - that we invite you to the annual New Year Retreat in Denmark from the 28th of December to the 1st of January.
Six years ago we started to purposefully invite disciples from everywhere to join us in celebrating the end of the old year and the beginning of a new. Through this we have been blessed with new friendships and a growing recognition of the importance of our fellowship with our family around the world.
Every year has had it’s own specific "happenings" that we remember just from that year. One year we had a local "dragon" joining us in our role playgame, which was slain by our own (Saint) Jørn from Norway. We have had orks, trolls and witches that have had to be defeated. And we end the year with a party where all the saints celebrate and dance Les Lanciers.
This year God has lead us to a new "Castle" (life is a fairytale - you know). It is situated north of Copenhagen in a large forest, and of a far better standard than we have had previously - families, especially sisters will appreciate this. Likewise transportation from Copenhagen is much simpler and faster.
If you wish to join us in the party, eating both spiritual and physical food together, join us for the new year as one spiritual family, and sign up under registration.
The price for this is set to be 850 D.kr for five days (app. 115 Euro). If you come from Eastern Europe - incl. the Baltics - the price is 500 D.kr (app. 67 Euro). This includes food, accommodation and a blast of a party. If you would like to participate only for New Year’s Evening + New Year Day (31st of December - 1st of January) the price will be 375 D.kr (app. 50 Euro).
Children under the age of 12 are free of charge.
There is an initial payment - down payment - set to 200 D.kr. (app. 25 Euro). Due to the price of the camp this amount is not refundable.
Due to fluctuations in curent value, it is important that you ask your bank to pay the amounts in D.Kr. and not in an equivalent amount of euros.
How to register: Press "Registration" at the left menu and follow the guidance. Remember to fill out all fields.
Last date for down-payment is November 1st 2009.
Last date for the rest of the payment is December 1st 2009.
